Setting intentions will help you to focus on who you are in the moment, what are your values and purpose.
Setting goals helps you to see your future but setting intentions helps you to live in a present moment (the one that is real!)

Take some time for yourself, even a couple of minutes and breathe, do mindful meditation, close your eyes and relax.

Eat nutrient-dense foods, spice up your diet with spices, and herbs.
Avoid processed foods, packaged with unhealthy ingredients that only ruin your physical and mental health.
Treat yourself with healthy versions of your favorite comfort foods (google it!)
For me, it’s about 80% healthy foods and 20% guilty pleasures because I like to treat myself and to make my diet more interesting. That’s why I have taco Tuesdays, pizza Fridays, sushi Saturday and of course my cheat day which by the way is Sunday (Sunday Funday!)
- Keep Hydrated
HLWWU which stands for hot lemon water wake up (because what is more important than Vitamin C intake and boosting your metabolism? You know I’m kidding’ or maybe I’m not…)

Take your coffee seriously, create your own highly personalized coffee recipe) BUT drink caffeine in moderation
For me, it’s LBDAM with CO which stands for long, black with a dash of almond milk with coconut oil (my caffeine intake is a serious thing because I am a self-proclaimed coffee lover or coffeeholic)
- Treat Yourself Good
Make some space for Guilty Pleasures
For me, it’s definitely stracciatella ice cream in the spring-summer season and cinnamon hot chocolate in the fall-winter season, Netflix and chill
- Boost Your Endorphins with a Physical Activity
Create your exercise routine, move your body, take a walk, do the stretch, practice yoga, whatever kind of sport or physical activity you like.
- Get a Quality Sleep
I’m still working on it but I can already tell you that my pillow smells like a field of lavender and my whole bedroom smells like cinnamon apple pie; essential oils are also my guilty pleasure.
- Self-Care Like a Boss
Self-care improves our lives in many different ways. It’s not only essential for our mental and physical health but it definitely boosts our well-being and helps us to achieve a positive mindset. It is also an important tool in building self-esteem, creating self-love, improving a mind-body-spirit relationship and refocusing your brain, just to name a few. Practicing self-care helps us to be more productive, motivated, focused and just live a better life.

Create A Sacred Ritual that you can implement it into your daily routine - create the meaning behind the person you are (Meditate, Practice Yoga, self-reflection practice, Journaling, Create Affirmations)

Practicing gratitude benefits your positive thinking, compassion towards others, self-love, and self-awareness.
Keep a gratitude journal and never ever take things for granted.

Relaxation is an important part of a daily routine. Create a healthy relationship between productivity and relaxation. Find some time for recharging your batteries otherwise you’re going to be completely burnt out, stressed out and overwhelmed.

Stand directly in front of the mirror, look straight into your own eyes and give yourself a pep talk. Reflect on your worth and value.
- Lift Yourself Up with some good music that makes you happy
I used to listen to All by my self by Celine Dion when I felt depressed… don’t do it please it’s a really bad idea instead chose some happy and/or inspiring music
Your inner child is the source of your creativity
Engage in some activity that makes you feel childlike.
I love to watch a live Panda cam (you should try it, that’s insane!), embrace trees, collect seashells or rocks… yeap I can easily connect with my inner child and you should try to do it right now!
5. SOCIAL – treat yourself in a good company
- Stay connected & Spend A Quality Time With Your Loved Ones (phone call included) - surround yourself with positive people who believe in you, appreciate you and who you trust. Build your tribe.
- Go Outside & Connect With Nature - connecting with nature keeps us grounded and makes us grateful, not to mention daily exposure of Vitamin D.
- Engage Yourself In Positive & Pleasurable Social Situations
It will to achieve a positive mindset and boost your positive energy.
Get your coffee in your favorite coffee shop or café, eat lunch in a good company.
- Do Your Grocery Shopping
My tip for grocery shopping: go to the grocery shop always with a grocery list and never in the rush hour. Trust me it’s the best way to avoid emotional triggers and wasting time.
