5 Dimensions of Wellbeing

1. MENTAL – revitalize your mental energy

  • Create A Healthy Daily Routine

Solid daily routine benefits to your mental &physical health not to mention that it helps you to achieve your goals and make your dreams come true.

  • Create Your Sleep Routine

Go to bed early and get up early to start your day in a positive and productive way.

  • Create A Power TO-DO List & Prioritize Your Tasks

Go throughout your day with your to-do list - Organization is the key to success

Write everything you need to get done and schedule it - Schedule means getting things done.

Cultivate A Present Moment Technique

Mindfulness practice techniques strengthen your attention and concentration

Gain perspective and awareness of where you are physically and mentally in the present moment

Regain control over your thoughts

Focus on the present moment - learn to live here and now.

  • Set A Daily Intention

Setting intentions will help you to focus on who you are in the moment, what are your values and purpose.

Setting goals helps you to see your future but setting intentions helps you to live in a present moment (the one that is real!)

  • Cultivate Mindful Relaxation

Embrace il dolce far niente

Find your way to recharge batteries efficiently (enjoy your coffee or a delicious meal, treat yourself with your favorite ice-cream, Netflix and chill, exercise, put on relaxing music, take a relaxing bath, read, whatever relaxes you)

  • Stimulate Your Brain

Read books, articles, newspaper

Listen to audiobooks or podcasts

Reading is mentally stimulating and it helps to keep your mind active - your brain is like a muscle, use it and make it strong.

  • Feed Your Passion & Work On Side Projects

Side projects and Passion helps us to strengthen our relationship with ourselves, improve our focus and just genuinely makes us happy.

  • Create a Space for the New - Boost Your Productivity
  • Digital Detox (at least one hour before going to bed)

Reconnect with a real word

Practice Mindfulness

Practice gratitude

Spend time with your loved ones.

  • Embrace Procrastination to overcome it

Distractions happen for a reason, maybe you’re overworked, overwhelmed and stressed out.

Take some time for yourself, even a couple of minutes and breathe, do mindful meditation, close your eyes and relax.

  • Embrace Creative Chaos

Think outside the box, write down your thoughts, ideas, plans, and projects and see what your mind is telling you.

  • Get inspired - find inspiration for creative new ideas, search for inspirations anywhere, anytime (Ted talks, podcasts, newspaper, online articles, etc.)

 2. PHYSICAL – celebrate your body

  • Make Your Diet Healthier

Eat nutrient-dense foods, spice up your diet with spices, and herbs.

Avoid processed foods, packaged with unhealthy ingredients that only ruin your physical and mental health.

Treat yourself with healthy versions of your favorite comfort foods (google it!)

For me, it’s about 80% healthy foods and 20% guilty pleasures because I like to treat myself and to make my diet more interesting. That’s why I have taco Tuesdays, pizza Fridays, sushi Saturday and of course my cheat day which by the way is Sunday (Sunday Funday!)

  • Keep Hydrated

HLWWU which stands for hot lemon water wake up (because what is more important than Vitamin C intake and boosting your metabolism? You know I’m kidding’ or maybe I’m not…)

(coffee lovers only)

Take your coffee seriously, create your own highly personalized coffee recipe) BUT drink caffeine in moderation

For me, it’s LBDAM with CO which stands for long, black with a dash of almond milk with coconut oil (my caffeine intake is a serious thing because I am a self-proclaimed coffee lover or coffeeholic)

  • Treat Yourself Good

Make some space for Guilty Pleasures

For me, it’s definitely stracciatella ice cream in the spring-summer season and cinnamon hot chocolate in the fall-winter season, Netflix and chill

  • Boost Your Endorphins with a Physical Activity

Create your exercise routine, move your body, take a walk, do the stretch, practice yoga, whatever kind of sport or physical activity you like.

  • Get a Quality Sleep

I’m still working on it but I can already tell you that my pillow smells like a field of lavender and my whole bedroom smells like cinnamon apple pie; essential oils are also my guilty pleasure.

  • Self-Care Like a Boss

Self-care improves our lives in many different ways. It’s not only essential for our mental and physical health but it definitely boosts our well-being and helps us to achieve a positive mindset. It is also an important tool in building self-esteem, creating self-love, improving a mind-body-spirit relationship and refocusing your brain, just to name a few. Practicing self-care helps us to be more productive, motivated, focused and just live a better life.

  • Declutter Your Space

Just like they say: clean space, clean head (it’s a mental & housekeeping in one)I don’t know about you but honestly, I cannot relax in the middle of a complete mess.

3. SPIRITUAL – nourish your soul

  • Nourish your Spirit

Create A Sacred Ritual that you can implement it into your daily routine - create the meaning behind the person you are (Meditate, Practice Yoga, self-reflection practice, Journaling, Create Affirmations)

  • Practice Gratitude

Practicing gratitude benefits your positive thinking, compassion towards others, self-love, and self-awareness.

Keep a gratitude journal and never ever take things for granted.

  • Apply the Law of Attraction - Manifest Love
  • Engage In Creative Work

Creativity is spiritual intelligence.

Connect with your intuition.

Connect with your higher self through meditation and mindfulness practice techniques.

Learn from your experiences and mistakes and use them to your advantage.

“The soul is placed in the body like a rough diamond, and must be polished, or the luster of it will never appear.”
―Daniel Defoe

4. EMOTIONAL – boost your positive emotions

  • Get Responsible

Have something that you’re nurturing and taking care of like plants, pet, your tribe.

  • Keep A Journal as a therapeutic tool

Journaling is perfect for mental housekeeping, self-reflection and getting rid of difficult emotions.

  • Self-Reflection

There are many different ways to practice self-reflection. You can do it through meditation, journaling, practicing gratitude and bringing mindfulness into your daily life.

Benefits of self-reflection: you gain emotional intelligence, reflect on your goals, values, issues, self-worth.

Relaxation is an important part of a daily routine. Create a healthy relationship between productivity and relaxation. Find some time for recharging your batteries otherwise you’re going to be completely burnt out, stressed out and overwhelmed.

  • Do The Mirror Technique

Stand directly in front of the mirror, look straight into your own eyes and give yourself a pep talk. Reflect on your worth and value.

  • Lift Yourself Up with some good music that makes you happy

I used to listen to All by my self by Celine Dion when I felt depressed… don’t do it please it’s a really bad idea instead chose some happy and/or inspiring music

Your inner child is the source of your creativity

Engage in some activity that makes you feel childlike.

I love to watch a live Panda cam (you should try it, that’s insane!), embrace trees, collect seashells or rocks… yeap I can easily connect with my inner child and you should try to do it right now!

5. SOCIAL – treat yourself in a good company

  • Stay connected & Spend A Quality Time With Your Loved Ones (phone call included) - surround yourself with positive people who believe in you, appreciate you and who you trust. Build your tribe.
  • Go Outside & Connect With Nature - connecting with nature keeps us grounded and makes us grateful, not to mention daily exposure of Vitamin D.
  • Engage Yourself In Positive & Pleasurable Social Situations

It will to achieve a positive mindset and boost your positive energy.

Get your coffee in your favorite coffee shop or café, eat lunch in a good company.

  • Do Your Grocery Shopping

My tip for grocery shopping: go to the grocery shop always with a grocery list and never in the rush hour. Trust me it’s the best way to avoid emotional triggers and wasting time.

Be mindful

Stay positive

Take care
