Go outside…
Go outside, and go alone. Connect with nature. Look around yourself. Look around as if you wanted to paint the scene in detail and turn your picture into a masterpiece. But before you do it, suspend your judgment so that you can live in the moment to the fullest. Stop your mind from racing. Stop your mind from interpreting what your eyes see. Forget about everything you learn about nature, trees, birds, flowers, grass, sky, clouds and everything else that’s right in front of you. Forget about the symbols, opinions, and beliefs you have accepted into your mind over the course of a lifetime.
Remember that your memory contaminates perception. Your present personal reality is filtered through abstract ideas formed from prior experience. It’s not objective. It’s not authentic.
Be humble. Accept that objective reality does not exist. Our perception of reality is an act of faith, not reason. Our senses deceive us all the time. Our mind always tries to choose the path of least resistance - the most familiar one without giving us a chance to look at things from a different perspective. Don’t fall into this ego trap. Be self-aware. Be mindful.
Challenge yourself. Clear your mind from unwanted thoughts. Get rid of excessive worry and drop the needless expectations. Free your mind and the rest will follow. Stop analyzing everything that happens to you, just breath and experience it. Look at things without this compelling need to assign everything meaning. Suspend judgment, distance your past experience and start discovering.
Be an explorer. Don’t judge things as beautiful or ugly, right or wrong, good or bad. Just look as if you were seeing everything for the first time. Practice being curious. Look at things without filtering the image through your mind’s categories. Be interested in everything. Be curious. Make sense of your world by drawing attention to your 5 senses. Look at the reality that surrounds you through the eyes of a child that when seeing something new have to touch it, smell it, hear it and taste it. And do it. Do it right now! Experience the reality you’re part of with your 5 senses.
Walk into it and experience the minute details that make the scene what it is. Create a mental picture of what you’re experiencing. Leave the past where it belongs and forgive yourself. Savor the present moment.
Stay inside…
Stay inside your bedroom. Make yourself comfortable. Close your eyes. Breath deeply and slowly. Let go of the need for control just breathe. Stop planning for the future and start discovering your present self. Suspend your judgment. Relax your mind and let your conscience be free. Take another deep breath and observe how the negative thoughts and difficult emotions float away. Quiet your mind, relax your body and delve deeper into your soul.
Take another deep breath and get high on oxygen. Visualize the tension leaving your body through your breath and evaporating into the air. Can you feel a delicious sense of relief?
Stay present and pay attention to your body sensations. Savor every delicious, mind-blowing second of the present moment. Place your hand on your chest and feel the rhythm of your heartbeat. Feel the blood flowing through your veins. Feel the authenticity of the present moment. Delve deeper into yourself. Accept this perfectly imperfect experience. Get rid of excessive worry and drop the needless expectations.
Imagine yourself in a restful environment. Imagine you are at the top of the highest mountain looking at the abundant play of colors and shapes captivating you in their spell. Isn’t it beautiful? Isn’t it breathe taking? Can you feel how liberating and empowering this moment really is?
Let your intuition guide you. Taste every delicious moment of your journey inside yourself. Slip inside the eye of your mind and form your mental imagery. What do you see inside of your eyelids? Can you notice wonderful shapes, patterns, and forms your mind creates for you? Can you feel how your mental imagery counters your inner world? Do you still think that consciousness is just an illusion that continues to mislead you?
The only moment that exists is NOW. Now is forever.
Change is the only constant. Everything changes, nothing stands still. Accept it. Accept that everything flows, embrace change and live the present moment to the fullest.
Accept the darkness inside you and the truth of yourself will set you free. And just breathe.
Live in the present moment. Be mindful. Be free. Leave the past where it belongs and forgive yourself. Savor the present moment.
Stay Positive
Be Mindful
And Live The Present Moment To The Fullest

Very concisely written, it’s a real ‘bitesize’ and understandable snapshot of what being mindful involves and how to do it. I’m one of those that know how to do it, why it’s important and helpful, and yet doesn’t do it anywhere near enough.. x
In my personal opinion, Mindfulness is a journey of self-discovery, the art of savoring the present moment, a powerful way to unleash your natural creativity, an incredible possibility to embrace your inner child, effective way to relax and unwind and of course a tool to experiencing the authenticity of a present moment. But the way we practice it depends only on us. I don’t believe that there’s only one good way to practice it. It’s like telling someone that there is only one good way to live their life. Everyone is different and the things that work for someone will not necessarily work for someone else. And that’s completely fine. Practicing Mindfulness is about living your life, achieving your goals and focus on what’s important for you. If you’re authentic you cannot do it wrong. It’s a journey, not a destination. And everyone’s journey is different, unique and special. Mindfulness is just a concept of living in the present moment and for every person, this concept will mean something else. It’s like customizing your smartphone. (forgive me this comparison) But I see practicing Mindfulness like a customization app that helps you to make your life an authentic experience, your own highly personalized experience not a copy of someone else’s life. Life is unpredictable, chaotic, unfair and definitely not as perfect as people try to portrait it on their Instagram feed. But until we are here, alive on this planet we can do whatever we want to make our life worth living. When my father died from ALS 4 months ago my first thought was: I will not make it. But after three days of non-stop crying, I told myself that I did not want this personal tragedy to destroy me I wanted it to make me stronger. I consciously chose this path. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and I promised myself that I will find the reason why all that happened and then I will use this “reason” to become a better person. My point is that we can always choose how we want to live a particular life experience. We just have to understand it. I could not have saved my father’s life but I can try to turn this personal tragedy into my strength and become a smarter, better and more humble person. And I will try to do it. I hope it makes sense… Take Care Caz!! Thank you for being you! xx
“Free your mind and let the rest follow”
That line reminded me of ‘The Matrix’ When Morpheus tells Neo, Free your mind.
Your message is clear and to the point. I love it. And being mindfulness helps one become aware of the now and disregarding the past bad and the future. Let the positive and good things be of nowness.
