Distracted From YOUR Real Life
What is the first thing you do when you wake up? Are you checking notifications on our phone, responding to emails, scrolling through social media, reading the news, or watching Netflix? Or maybe you’re doing morning math to estimate how long you can stay in bed without rushing or risking being late? What’s the first ritual you perform immediately after waking up? Do you have any morning rituals?
If you’re wondering why I’m asking you all these questions, the reason is quite simple, the way you start your morning sets the tone of the entire day. In the words, what you CHOOSE to do in the first 10 minutes of your day determine whether you will be motivated, concentrated and focus on your goals or quite the opposite.
In case you’re trying to figure out why I used the word choose it’s because everything you do is based on the choices you make. You choose your life moment by moment. You choose whether you want to take action and design your destiny or you prefer waiting for the things to happen to you. You choose whether you want to be an optimist or pessimist. You choose whether you want to be an active participant in your life or a passive observer. And the list goes on. And the best part is that you can almost always change your mind and choose another option.
So if you think that grabbing your phone and checking notifications the first thing in the morning is a good idea… well, you’re probably wrong. I will say, even more, that’s a terrible idea, not only because you’re wasting the most important minutes of your day but also because you’re giving your full attention to other people. And that’s a big mistake.
You have the power to decide on how you would like your day to be. But in order to use it first, you have to redirect your attention from others to YOURSELF. It’s the only way to achieve success. Being distracted from real life will not give you any results except those imaginary ones.
Attention is one of the most important resources that we have. That’s why everyone and everything is fighting for your attention. All the outside world wants YOUR attention. Why? Well, because attention became our new currency. By getting your attention others are making money or feeding their ego. And you must step up and say “NO”. Because if you want to succeed in life you need to FOCUS on what’s truly important for you NOT for others. And to help you with that I wrote this post!
attention is the key to success

Attention Is A Limited Resource
Our resources are limited. Time, energy, money, mental capacity, ATTENTION, physical space, willpower or even talents are all limited. This means that if say “YES” to one thing you automatically say “NO” to another thing. That’s why it is so important to choose wisely how you’re going to use all the resources you have. Not to mention that if you spend time on things that don’t add value to your life you can’t live your life to the fullest. You just don’t have time for that.
Life can be so much more than you can even imagine but you need to act on your dreams. You need to redirect your focus from distraction to your top priorities, put yourself in motion and start producing results. Because even the most brilliant idea is worthless unless you act on it. No matter how much you want it, crave it, and visualize it, there’s no way your dreams will magically come true without you taking action. Only doing what you believe in, staying focused on your goals and pursuing your dreams will result in success. But you need to be FOCUSED on one thing at a time.
Regardless of some may say, there’s no such thing as attention divisibility. Multitasking is a myth unless you’re interested in poor results. But if you want to create something exceptional, you need to enter your brain’s most productive state. And there’s no way you can enter that state if you fall into focus-stealing traps in every few minutes. If you want to achieve your goals you need to redirect your focus from distractions to your priorities.
grow your money

We live in the Attention Economy. The outside world craves for your attention in every second of our life. Social media, tv news, Newspaper headlines, Youtube News channels… Everyone wants your ATTENTION. Everything tries to steal your focus. All the time. And for some reason always at the precise moment when you’re starting working or studying, there’s something or someone that tries to distract you. When it happens, it can feel like the universe is conspiring against you to keep you stuck at procrastination station. And we all know how tempting procrastination REALLY is.
Procrastination seduces you in many forms. It promises you gratification but it’s only instant gratification. It gives you pleasure but it’s only a temporary pleasure. It can give you this adrenaline rush… that’s why it’s so addictive. But it comes at a price. Procrastination offers you all of these amazing things in exchange for your time, focus and life. That’s an extremely high price to pay.
What procrastination will NEVER give you is what gives meaning to life. It will never give you anything of value. Procrastination will never assist you in achieving life satisfaction and building long-term happiness. That’s because the satisfaction and long-term happiness are built on achievement, not on temporary pleasure. So pay attention. Never trade future blessings for temporary pleasures. It’s NOT worth it.
Success Is Build On Decision
“Success is not about luck or coincidence it’s about guiding your thoughts in the right direction focusing on your goals and taking action. It is about doing and trying failing and learning to work and then finally succeeding to get it.”
Success is not about waiting for something to happen to you but about creating results. But if you want great results, you need to be committed. There are no shortcuts to success. No quick fixes, no “One size fits all” and definitely not an immediate reward will help you to build a successful, meaningful and fulfilling life. Only hard work, determination, self-discipline, passion for learning and delayed gratification will lead you to success.
Success is not a coincidence but the result of hard work, continuous effort, enormous sacrifice, persistence and unwavering self-belief in one’s ability to achieve their goals.
Success is about making a DECISION. You need to decide whether you want to focus on what’s truly matters and go after the life you want or you just want to stay here you are waiting for fate to occur.
A decision is the first step. Commitment is your driving force. Action is your tool to achieve results. Nothing will change until you change. Nothing worth experiencing will happen until you act on your dreams. So if you want to build a life worth living you need to make a DECISION. You need to DECIDE where to focus your time, energy and attention. The decisions you make today determine your tomorrow.
