With so many things that are happening in the world right now making life more interesting and exciting seems crazy, but only at first sight. Because if you think about lastest major world events they are quite interesting, there’s no doubt about that. However, if you take a closer look at how so-called facts are being presented to us by the media you will notice an interesting pattern – that the world is awful, extremely dangerous, unsafe and just terrible place to live in. According to their narrative the world it’s incredibly terrifying. But is this accurate representation of what OUR reality truly is? Or maybe the media manipulate the facts so they fit with their narrative which is almost always depressing, scary and shocking. That question I leave to you.
That we are living through difficult times is clear for all to see. And I’m not going to question that. What I mean is that regardless of external circumstances that we cannot control we can STILL control how we respond to them. So maybe it’s time to reprogram your mind to stay positive and make your life more exciting? If you’re ready to do that, here are 10 simple ways you can make your daily life much more interesting and exciting in a positive and meaningful way!
1. Use Visuals To Attract Your Desired Life
Are you living up to your full potential? Or maybe you feel that something is lacking from your life but you’re not sure what it is. Do you know what’s the best way to figure that out? Creating a Vision Board!
Vision board or dream board as some people like to call it is a powerful tool you can use to visualize your future self, narrow down your desires and maintain your focus on specific goals. It’s your piece of art, your inspiration, and the manifestation of your dream future in one. So if you are a little bit confused about what you want to achieve in the near future, visualizing it will not only help you to clarify your dreams but also transform them into reality. Don’t wait for the future, create it using the power of visualisation and intentional action. Your life is in your hands. All you have to do is to realize it.
Most of us are extremely busy during the week trying to keep up with our to-do lists, jam-packed schedules and job-related duties. In such circumstances, finding time and energy for anything other than work is almost impossible. And even if we had some free time for trying new things we would be probably too tired to do that.
But life isn’t all about professional achievements. There is much more to life than just work. And this “more” is incredibly exciting! However to be able to experience that you must seek a new taste and new experiences in everyday life.
Being adventurous is such a great thing and it’s easier than you think. All you need to do is to dedicate a few hours of a week to exploring, expanding your experience and broadening your horizons.
This approach will help you to break up the routine of life, increase your overall satisfaction, expand your perspective on life and of course, boost your happy hormones. Because there’s no better and easier way to improve life satisfaction than by engaging with unique experiences and being around good energy.
So if you’re interested in leading a more satisfying and exciting life I highly recommend you to boost your adventurous side and try new experiences. It doesn’t have to be something incredibly spectacular but it should be something that will expose yourself to new ideas. Be Adventurous! Explore!
3. Plan Memorable Moments
Let’s state the obvious right now. Happiness always comes from within. It’s self-created. It does not depend on external circumstances. So if you’ve been waiting for happiness to happen accidentally you must be a little bit disappointed by now. Of course, I am not saying that beautiful, amazing and exciting things don’t happen to us from time to time. Sure they do. But not as often as we want them to.
So wouldn’t it be better to create moments of true happiness, pure joy and simple emotions instead of just waiting for them to happen? You could stop waiting for something that may never come and just start practising the art of creating happy memories that will last a lifetime. What do you think about this kind of approach?
Happiness is not an external thing to be found. Happiness does not come from binge-watching Netflix, mindlessly scrolling through social media, comparing yourself to others and just waiting for amazing things to happen to you. True happiness is self-created. It comes from these little moments we create daily. So if you want to enjoy your life a little bit more plan memorable moments and make them happen. Think about what does a full rich life means to you and what gives your life a sense of joy. Ask yourself what can bring a smile on your face. When you figure out the answer to these questions, then you can plan your enjoyment and start practising the art of creating happiness.
4. Rediscover Yourself
We live in an incredibly busy and chaotic world trying to balance extreme busyness with a little bit of inner peace. But how can you find a sense of inner peace if you hardly find time to breathe? The answer is quite simple: you can’t. You cannot find stillness and peace when you’re too busy to stop.
Modern life seems to be a never-ending sprint where every moment of pause is unwelcome, to say the least. People rush around because jam-packed schedule needs to be maintained, tight deadlines need to be met and various duties and responsibilities need to be performed immediately or ideally yesterday. Because who’s got time to wait? Well, no one. Patience doesn’t seem much of a virtue today. Life moves at the speed of light and we’re trying to keep up with it.
There’s never a moment’s peace around here. Everything and everyone else is a top priority except for you. So maybe it’s time to slow down a bit, take a deep breath, redirect your focus away from obsessing about your career, to getting to know yourself better? Because if you want to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life you need to reflect on yourself and discover who you really are. Finding your true self will help you choose the right direction in life. And to help you with that here are 10 self-discovery question to ask yourself:
5. Gain Inspiration
Struggling with motivation? Trying to get inspired? What if you’re looking for inspiration in all the wrong places? Or maybe you’re making it much more complicated than it ever needs to be?

- Surround yourself with inspiration. Create a commonplace book where you write down every single thing, phrase or quote that you find inspiring.
- Listen to inspiring audiobooks, podcasts and meditations
- Read, read and read even more and take notes
- Watch inspiring TED talks, Youtube videos
- Get cultured
- Motivation thrives from the action. When you start taking action on your goals you get inspired and your motivation follows.
- The more action you take, the more motivated you become to work on your most important goals.
- Action creates progress. “Progress equals happiness.

7. Find A Hobby That Will Fuel Your Life
Social distancing, quarantines, and isolation during the Coronavirus pandemic are quite challenging, to say the least. In these difficult times is so easy to engage in negative thinking and obsess over worst-case scenarios, but it’s not how you build strong mental health and improve your mood. So instead of watching news 24/7 that can only make you feel worse and worse do the things that make you feel genuinely happy, peaceful and fulfilled. I am sure you know this saying: “Always have 3 hobbies. One that keeps you in shape. One that keeps you creative. One that makes you money.”
Isn’t that a wonderful approach to look for a hobby you will love?
It’s the exact approach I’ve decided to adopt a couple of years ago and since then the quality of my life improved drastically! That’s why I suggest you do the same!
Think about some activity that inspires you, motivates you and makes you feel good about yourself and make time for it! Create a side hustle to improve your financial situation. Feed your passion and make some money at the same time!
8. Challenge Yourself Daily
Life is more than survival. Life is a true adventure. An incredible journey of self-discovery. That’s why it so incredibly precious to explore yourself even in those moments when things do not go as expected. Every single day is your chance to expand your mindset, develop your skills, stretch your abilities and train your courage muscle. You can live a full rich life, but only if you willing to challenge yourself.
Stepping outside our comfort zone, trying new things, stretching your boundaries is exactly what you need to live a more interesting, exciting and fulfilling life. Of course, I am not talking here about exposing yourself to potentially dangerous situations because that would be irresponsible. What I mean is that you should take a calculated risk and challenge yourself daily.
Pushing your boundaries and making yourself uncomfortable is actually more beneficial than you think. Because if you learn to get comfortable with feeling uncomfortable you will not only eliminate your fear of failure but also you will boost your courage. And courage is exactly what you need to turn your dreams into reality and create the life that you want to live.

9. Batch The Unejyoable Together
One of the most effective time management hacks is to batch similar tasks together. This simple strategy fits perfectly with the idea of making your life more interesting and exciting. How exactly? Well, you’ll be amazed at how simple is that.
Here it is; just think about all these things you don’t like to do but you need to do anyway. You have a choice: you can moan about it or you can batch all the boring/uninteresting/not-so-exciting things together and just start doing them.
So let’s say you need to do the laundry, prepare your meals, go shopping, declutter your house, answer the emails, do errands, you name it. All these things are not very interesting or exciting, no doubt about that. But you have a choice; you can either complaining about it or just start tackling them on.
So considering that you have to do these things anyway and there’s no way you can get away from doing them, I think it’s a good idea to batch all these not-so-exciting things together. At least this is how I approach this topic. Trust me, it’s better to get all the un-enjoyable things done in one day instead of taking the fun out of each day.
10. Detox From Negative Energy
We live in a busy, noisy and chaotic world. And while the right amount of these ingredients adds delicious flavour to the salad of life, the problem starts when you add too much of them. Too much chaos, busyness and noise create a mix that not only doesn’t taste good but it’s also quite indigestible. Not to mention that this strange mixture can easily transform into unbearable mental clutter which is pretty hard to deal with. That’s why if you want to stay focused on your priorities and maintain a solid life balance you need to declutter your mind and surroundings regularly.
Sometimes we don’t even realize how much intrusive thoughts, difficult emotions, and stressful situations that happen during the day affect our life. We just keep through our endless to-do list trying to be productive and self-motivated completely ignoring our mental wellbeing. But the truth is you cannot be healthy, productive, motivated and focus on your goals if you feel emotionally drained and worn-out.
